Cricket is not just game, it is a mystical world of colours and carnival. Be it Indian or Pakistani cricket, it is not just a game for them but a passion or an addiction. When it comes to a match between the two countries, it’s a war-like situation. Both the countries and their supporters do not want to lose. However, sometimes the actual game doesn’t play on the pitch. But the destiny of the match decided somewhere else. It is the dilemma which is inevitable.

Inside Edge is based on a fictional T20 league and cricket franchise. It is the first original Indian series on Amazon Prime Video.
The series shows the power play and lobbying involved in running a high profile cricket franchise. The mammoth changes incurred when it’s ownership changes or replaced. Alongside, it focuses on the eccentricities of the players, their work culture and their willing/unwillingness about participation in match fixings.
The series goes beyond the usual game that the public watches. It uncovers a game that is played behind closed doors rather than in the field.
Whereas it tells us using new and cunning methods to sell and buy cricket as well as cricketers like gambling, spot-fixing, match-fixing.
Ultimately cricketers earned millions for playing foul and if they play well their careers will be destroyed.

This series is a good and entertaining for those who have interest in cricket.
Direction and storyline is great.
Performance of actors is top notch. Especially the acting of Richa Chaddha, Siyani Gupta, Angad Bedi, Tanuj Virwani and Vivek Oberoi is admirable.
If you wanna watch something different, do give it a watch Inside Edge at earliest.
