The story of Guns and Gulaabs sets in the 90s world of crime and violence. The story is a blend of love, humour and romance. Guns and Gulaabs isn’t regular series. It has four stories which run parallel to each other intertwining in between as the story progresses. The core success of this series for being so good is the story. The screenplay is strong, the story is engaging. No one feels bored for a second.

Last 30 minutes of this show was really something to chase the end. This is the best ending in this series. Every character is well defined. With arcs and the dichotomy, they grapple with is excellently portrayal. The performances of the entire cast were exceptional. Every actor outshining the other. Rajkumar Rao was awesome as usual. He brings an authentic charm to this role, you find yourself rooting for him. He steals the show with his brilliant performance. Dulquer Salman is a very good actor but he got less screen time in this series. But he played his role very well. Adarsh Gourav also did justice with his character. Satish Kaushik and Gulshan Devaivah’s roles are small but powerful. Both of them have performed very well.

Hats off to Raj and DK for creating such a superb show for the audience. It is really a good treat to the eyes. Those who like comedy and crime at the same time, must watch ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ on Netflix. It’s definitely a worth watching series. It’s best pastime for this weekend.
