Since tourism becomes an emerging industry in the world therefore it turns out a big source of income. Hence it seems like the Eco-tourism grows parallel to it. It becomes a booming and flourishing business even in Pakistan which is a good omen for accelerating the economic growth. However the uncontrollable growth causes many problems. Resultantly the collateral damages occur to the biodiversity and environment.

Economic development, excessive concrete constructions, littering, bonfires, firework and haps of garbage showed adverse effects on the environment a well as on biodiversity. To cope with the alarming level of risks of such hazards, a long-term strategy for the conservation on Eco-tourism is need of the hour. The policy must be introduced at the grass-root level and it should be included as a compulsory subject in the syllabus at the school/college/university level.

Imparting Awareness:

Imparting awareness among the tourists as well as the common masses, proves an very helpful, beneficial and an effective tool in risk-reduction plan for protecting environment. Tour operating companies can play a positive and pivotal role in impeding littering and pollution issues. In this regard, they must include some relevant articles to their charters and make them compulsory, for the implementation of Eco-friendly tourism.

Definition of Terminology:

Eco which refers to Ecology or Ecosystem, is relatively a new term in Pakistan and very few people know about its definition. The basic concept behind the terminology is to preserve the natural resources intact for the future generations so that they might also experience the same beauty and charm.
