Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man with an outstanding arrest warrant. The individual in question is Alan ‘Ahmad’ Alameddine, aged 33, and he is wanted for serious firearm-related offenses. Ahmad is alleged to have evaded the police on Thursday, August 3, 2023, when they attempted to carry out a compliance check for a Firearm Prohibition Order at his residence in Greenacre.
Efforts to locate Ahmad are underway, led by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad. They are being assisted by the Dog Squad, Public Order & Riot Squad, and PolAir. To aid in their search, detectives have released a photograph of Ahmad, hoping that anyone who may have encountered him will come forward to provide information to the police.
Ahmad is described as having Mediterranean or Middle Eastern features, approximately 180cm tall, with a medium build. He has long, dark hair and dark facial hair. If anyone comes across Ahmad or has knowledge of his whereabouts, it is strongly advised not to approach him directly.
